Person with ownership

If you want to change jobs, go to various job change sites and check the conditions of various companies.

And if you look at the column of "People you want to see", you will often see "persons with ownership" written.

(Not only the word of ownership, but also any word that means that you can actively participate in the problem and take action to solve the problem)

On the other hand, if you are a manager or a recruiter, when you are asked what kind of people you want, you may say that you want person with ownership mind.

I agree with this.

Ownership is very important in business.

When I recruit (or when I'm thinking about new people to join), wnership is one of the things I really value.

My image of someone with ownership may be different from the general one, but I would like to write it.

My image is "a person who is anxious when something goes wrong even if he / she is not involved and willing to cooperate to solve it."

For example, suppose a customer receives a complaint about a company service. At that time, there were many people who just thought, "Oh, it's a complaint. It's tough." But people with ownership will take action to corporate to solve it even if the complains or claims is related to themselves or their own department. Not only the corporation, they think " who are dealing with this trouble now, how can we resolve customer dissatisfaction, why has this happened, and how can we avoid it next time? " They willingly cooperate with the solution while checking the situation with various people.

Take another example. Suppose a mid-career employee enters into the company. At that time, people with ownership think, even if the mid career person is in different department, "Do a new comer employee keep up with their jobs? Are they too immersed in routine work and are not shocked by the gap between what they wanted to do before joining the company? Does anyone care about? "

In other words, in an extreme way, they have a kind of timid aspect.

And if I can convey my nuances more accurately, I think that they must be equipped to perform a correct risk assessment.

Even if the risk is unlikely to be a serious problem, it is necessary to be able to immediately imagine the impact when the problem becomes large. Naturally, it is not enough to be able to imagine, and it is necessary to move to a solution, but my idea is that people who have this image can actually take concrete proactive steps.

(Of course, it is out of the question to make a fuss with an irrelevant selfish idea, so I would like to be careful to interview the stakeholders and organize.)

In fact, no one knows if a risk is exposed, but a colleague who always has the "timidity" and can capture the facts correctly is very helpful. Conversely, people who do not have this background at all, whether inside or outside the company, personally do not want to work very close with.

Although we all know that not everyone is working for the company, I always think that this kind of trait is precious and I want to continue to respect. (It's difficult to see through short interviews, though)
